Regular Season Round 19: Torun - NABA 79-77

Everything went according to plan when sixteenth ranked PolishTorun (6-2) edged 36th ranked Irish NABA (5-4) 79-77 on Thursday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Torun trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 26-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Torun outrebounded NABA 44-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Marcin Kokot fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Adam Sowinski chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Torun players scored in double figures. Torun's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Alejandro Cranganu produced 25 points and 4 assists and guard Nojus Vasikauskas added 27 points respectively for lost side. Torun have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Despite that victory Torun went down to eighteenth position due to points difference, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser NABA dropped to the 86th place with four games lost.
